Bailey's finally finished her treatment for Lyme and was spayed and microchipped on Monday. She says she's now all ready for a home of her own. Here's what's on her wish list:
- An adults only home with someone who has LOADS of time to spend with her as well as training skills to help her develop confidence.
- A stable male dog (preferably Berner!!) who will be mentor and companion.
- A fenced yard - so she doesn't have to worry about scary things.
Bailey's rescue has been a joint effort with BARC (Bernese Auction Rescue Coalition - www.barc.com) and BERNER, Inc. If you're interested in adopting Bailey, please go to the BARC web site for information about their adoption process and for an application. BARC has already invested a good bit in Bailey - paying to get her out of the clutches of the woman who chained her to the radiator and planned turn her into a canine puppy factory. She's been spayed, micro-chipped, vetted and treated for Lyme disease. Now she needs a human of her own - the one who will turn her life around and help her learn not to be afraid.
